Ankle arthritis is a condition that causes inflammation of the ankle joint that in most cases results in pain, swelling, stiffness, and limited range of motion. Some may experience a chronic dull aching pain within the ankle. Ankle sprains as well as any other traumatic events to the ankle joints should never be ignored.
