Atlantic Foot & Ankle Specialists is excited to announce the arrival of our newest podiatrist to our Hinesville office location, Dr. Thomas Legacki.

Dr. Legacki enjoys the field of podiatry and is well versed in offering an array of both conservative and surgical interventions with regards to foot and ankle issues.  He has extensive experience with the diabetic foot and wound care and he also has a keen interest in diabetic education/diabetic complication prevention. 

  Dr. Legacki served in the United States Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz right after high school.  After completion of his active duty, he completed undergraduate studies at North Carolina State University and received his medical degree at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.  His 3 year medical and surgical residency was completed in Tennessee at James H Quillen Veterans Affairs Hospital and Johnson City Medical Center and surrounding private practices. 

  While not at work Dr. Legacki enjoys spending time with his family and playing with his 3 year old son.  They have family in Tybee and St. Mary’s and Jacksonville and are very happy to be back near family ties.  They have traded in their 17 acre horse farm in Southwest Virginia for the Georgia Low Country and are excited to get involved with lake fishing, boating, and beach activities.  They also plan to still be active with the horsing and barrel racing community.
