Atlantic Foot & Ankle Specialists is excited to announce the arrival of our newest podiatrist to our Pooler office location, Dr. Wizely Clauther.

Dr. Clauther enjoys the field of podiatry and is well versed in offering an array of both conservative and surgical interventions with regards to foot and ankle issues.  He has extensive experience with the diabetic foot and wound care and he also has a keen interest in diabetic education/diabetic complication prevention.

Dr. Clauther is originally from the island nation of Haiti, but he has lived in New York City for the past 23 years. Dr. Clauther graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2011. His 3 years of residency were completed at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY focusing on foot surgery. Dr. Clauther then completed a year of ACFAS (American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons) Fellowship in Ankle Trauma / Foot and Ankle Reconstruction Surgery at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

While not at work Dr. Clauther enjoys spending time with his wife. He enjoys music and is currently learning to play the guitar in his spare time. Dr. Caluther and his wife also like going out to operas and musicals. For keeping active he enjoys soccer and basketball. Recently relocated to Savannah from New York City, he looks forward to being part of Atlantic Foot and Ankle Specialists family.
